Valera Leto was born on September the 4th, 1989 in Krasnoyarsk, USSR.

 

Heʼs been interested in skateboarding and rock music since his young years.

 

His passion for skateboarding and the desire of self-expression brought the artist to the sphere of griptape art.

 

In 2012, the absolutely new for Russian contemporary art sphere, griptape art project LUST was released.

 

The LUST was successfully presented in 2013 at the Faces&Laces Festival in Moscow.

 

From the sphere of griptape art Leto smoothly deepened into a more serious painting. Since 2012 he began to create a series of paintings "The Blue Light series", united by a common idea and style.
