Shelter Serra (born 1972) is from Bolinas, California, currently lives and works in New York City. His interest in art started at an early age with his love of clay and Lego and later with skateboarding and graffiti murals in San Francisco. Serra studied at the University of California and later went on to receive a Master’s in Fine Arts in painting and print making from Rhode Island School of Design.
Shelter has participated in multiple group shows in New York at galleries such as Marlborough Chelsea and Paul Kasmin Shop. He has also exhibited in Japan and London.
