Natalia Kozhukhovskaya was born and grew up in Krasnoyarsk, where she began to study painting.

 

A series of portraits was created in the spring of 2016 in a suburb of Barcelona in the residence of Mas Els Igols. A series of linocut patterns was created in the summer of 2017 in Amsterdam at the residence of the AGA lab and is part of the project Dating an imaginary man.

 

True love in our egocentric world is elusive and sometimes eludes even at the very beginning. It is more and more difficult to fall in love and every time failures are perceived all fatal.

 

As an artist, she wants to explore this topic and find out how it all works. She is viewing the relationship and the contradictory nature of love from different angles, but always only from the side of her personal experience and shares it as honestly as possible.
